Sew many DT card challenge- easel

Ok so I have known for a few weeks that I have been accepted as part of the design team over at sew many challenges, but now it is official and this is my first challenge I have been included on. This week we were asked to make an easel card for the challenge and we had some fab spring images to choose from. Here is my card.

I choose Harley in spring; I just couldn’t resist his cute face. My easel was very simple. I took a pre-scored 7x 5 card stock and simply scored one section in half and folded it back on it’s self. I coloured Harley in with promarkers and used my cuttlebug to make the die-cuts. The flowers were made with a punch and layered.

Please come and check out sew many challenges as we will be having a blog hop and a chance for you to win some great images.

Birthday boys!

Both my husband and son had their birthdays this weekend and here are the cards i made for them.

This was a scallop circle Easel card, made using my Cuttlebug. It was a little smaller than i had wanted really but it can only be as big as the nestie.

My husband loves harry potter and these digi images from bugaboo stamps are fantastic.
I made a tri-fold shutter card but i didn't have a template and i didn't use a scoring board. It was all done free hand with a craft knife and a ruler so it may have been slightly wonky. I coloured the images in with my promarkers but i had the images too close together on my card and i couldn't cut out a nice shape so i scanned the images and moved them so they weren't so close and i like the effect of the digi on photo paper for a change.
It was matted and layered, used my cuttlebug for the frame and added flowers, gems and sentiments.

2 Tier boy bundle

Here is my lastest order.
There can't be many girl's being born lately as all i seem to get orders for are boy nappy cakes not complaining but would just love the change of colours.
